PPP To Sit On Opposition Benches In Punjab: RabbaniPPP To Sit On Opposition Benches In Punjab: PPP leader Mian Raza Rabbani said that demand of mid-term elections was out of question as there was no threat to the federal government. He said that PPP ministers will sit on opposition benches in Punjab. “Pakistan People’s Party did not drag its feet because this 10-point agenda is our agenda and it is also part of our manifesto,” PPP central leader and Federal Minister for Inter-provincial Coordination, Senator Raza Rabbani argued while addressing a press conference.
On this occasion, Babar Awan said that this was a day of disaster for democracy as PML-N run the replay of politics of 90s. He said that Unification Block was nothing more than a gang of Changa Manga. “I was disappointed when it was said that no progress was made on the 10-point agenda and that even a 30 progress would have been considered reasonable,” he said.
Earlier today, PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif, at a press conference, announced to oust PPP ministers from the Punjab cabinet after inconclusive talks with the government on implementation on 10-point agenda.
